After months of this, it dawned on me one day, that it is what it is. This new life was not going to change, and I had to enjoy my life without the bonds of insecurity. On Friday morning the reports started coming in and hearts started breaking worldwide. How could this have happened? Why? There are no answers but I for one, refuse to believe that the world is filled with hate. Instead I think these events shock us because the world is filled with love and when an act of hate occurs our hearts can’t fathom it. I cannot offer any true comfort. I cannot tell you what will bring you peace but today this video came across my desk and for a minute, I felt relief. For a minute I believed that there is more to our world than the news coverage that is pervading our air today. Today I am looking for peace any way I can get it.
In the Lifecycle film we are challenged to do what we love, to change the things that we don’t love and to open our minds, hearts and arms to new things and new people. This film is a reminder that this is our life. This is our boat to navigate and we can let go and float aimlessly out to see or we can mark our path and find our happiness.
